This is our very own tour of Italy, and considerably less tiring than the famous bicycle race! From Alto Adige in the north we have a fantastic white from a team that regularly features in the Gambera Rosso. From Abruzzo we have Pecorino our most popular white wine and justifiably so. The deep south of Sicily brings us Barbazzalle Bianco a delicious fruity white with a silky mouthfeel. Moving onto the reds still in the south we have a spicy fruity Negroamaro from Puglia, one of Italy’s most exciting regions. Moving further north to Tuscany brings us to Carpazo’s Sangiovese, a rounded medium-bodied wine with great balance. Last but by no means least we land in Piemonte home to the Nebbiolo grape and the example we have here is complex with herbal and floral notes with black plum flavours.
2 bottles of each wine.
